![]() The one thing I came up with as an option and would love feedback. I will look at events.Įverything else makes sense. Did I miss zoom coming out with a “product” that does this? I know they had a webinar but this is too interactive to use that. Budget would be $1000s and ideally limited. Then in the main Webinar you can have 2000 people easy, and moderate incoming questions by giving audio permissions. The nice thing with zoom Events is you can keep everyone in the same "space" and they will easily be able to join those other meetings. Personally I would just get a zoom events license, then do separate meetings for the breakout sessions. ![]() You are going to have a shit ton of mix-minus needs with your audio and one fuck up you will get echo like crazy, even worse sometimes than if you had just not done anything. ![]() Just build out an NDI network and use VMIX to do your switching and routing. You can do this, if you do I would recommend NOT using an ATEM, you are just limiting yourself to hardline cabled devices here. In the end it was causing more issues than it was benefiting, and the people asking the questions were missing portions of the talk because they were testing their equipment. Sending video back to the speaker was always a pain, because when you have 1500 people getting that one person queued up was such a cluster, and over a few days of doing that we ending up just using a queue, and we would breakout the person to make sure they were good. Sending video to all the attendees meetings was easy, since we had 2-3 speakers and all the control we needed. Ive done a few meetings where we had 3 or 4 separate meetings going, with 1 main meeting going that we used for the main speakers. Thanks in advance, until zoom can manage 2000 students and the 300+ breakout rooms we need :)ĭepends on how much budget you have, the requirements for audio and video, and how much training for speakers ahead of time, since this will be different than a normal zoom. Mainly looking for overall ideas for a solution, and/or how to avoid the audio feedback. And that causes feedback based on delays, mic settings being all over the board with the students, etc. Because when someone shares in B we have a second laptop getting A/V in B relaying as a parity company in meeting A for B->A sharing, and a second laptop with that reverses for A->B. So far the ATEM seems best and requires someone to “man” the device because it’s resolved the audio feedback and that’s the main issue with the capture device only solutions we have tried. The question is any recommendations to do this, we are looking at OBS, again ATEM, other video/audio capture for virtual video and audio, and looking for the communities help. Then with a combination of “streaming” laptops or a hardware splitter/combiner like an ATEM mini extreme to then have students in meeting B interact with the teacher in meeting A, but be broadcast back to A and B. Having the instructor in meeting A and additional students beyond the max in meeting B. Because of limitations on both user count and breakout rooms and being in an education type setting our thought is to join two max meetings. In the mean time, it would go a log way to add a "Join here" button alongside the "Switch" button when viewing Zoom on another device. We are looking to join two zoom meetings together, not have two separate meetings running or joining multiple meetings on the same client both work out of the box with our enterprise class licensing. I think viewing the chat log and sharing screen functionality should be available across all device since we are logged in and authenticated with the same Zoom account. After joining the meeting as a duplicate entity, the chat log is empty so and link I see on the tablet that I need to visit on the computer is not available. Can't share my computer screen without joining the meeting again (typing in the meeting ID, passcode, e.t.c). ![]() Can't join on a computer without create a second, duplicate entity for myself in the meeting. These are some of the main problems I constantly have to deal with: But, often I need to use functionality on the computer or share my screen. I use a tablet (iPad) as my main meeting device, because I can walk around with it and it's a lot more convenient. When using multiple devices for Zoom there are several inconveniences during a normal meeting flow.
